Dek Hockey new price $169.00 registration for ages 7-15 years old:
Chipmunk Division ($109) : 4,5 & 6 year olds
Penguin Division ($169): 7,8 & 9 year olds
Beaver Division ($169): 10,11 & 12 year olds
Cadet Division ($169): 13,14,15 year olds
Freshman Division ($100) 16,17,18 year olds
Teams do not play more that 3 days a week. The schedule can always change based on registration numbers. Typically, Chipmunks are Saturday mornings beginning at 9am or 10:00am. Cadets typically play Monday evenings and Saturday late mornings at 11am Noon & 1pm hours. Penguin play Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Beaver Division typically play Tuesday and Saturdays afternoons.

Dek Hockey/Street Hockey - What is Dek Hockey? Dek Hockey is enhanced Street Hockey that is played on smooth plastic surface inside a hockey rink. Players RUN. There is no skating or rollerblades. Players run on their feet. Boys and Girls play together. NOT full contact. It’s safe fast paced Hockey without the ice! This is a developing league for all skill levels including kids that play travel ball hockey or have never played hockey! Spring Season starts with player evals and team formations mid to late March and will go into June with playoffs usually starting after Memorial Day. We attempt to end before the school year ends. We have Travel Hockey in the late winter/early spring with some out of town tournaments.
The Fall season is from early September with player evaluations and team formations and practices. Games begin in Early October and the fall season wraps before Christmas in December. The annual Halloween Havoc tournament happens the entire week of Halloween and ends with playoff & championship round on the Saturday of the Medford Twp Halloween Parade. We typically enter our league and march in the Medford Halloween Parade (3rd place finish in 2018 and 2nd place 2019 float contest). This sport is so much fun for the kids and parents!!! Come join us for the great, fun atmosphere at the rink in Hartford Crossing Park.
Coaches and volunteers are welcomed and needed (must meet coaching requirements for Medford Twp) and coaches (head & assistant) are required to referee the games.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT: Players are expected to supply the following equipment items:
HECC certified helmet with cage, mouthpiece/guard, street hockey stick (wood shaft, plastic blade, abs plastic or composite ice hockey stick), cup, hockey shin guards, protective cup, elbow pads, hockey style gloves. Each player will receive a uniform at the start of the season.
The program will be structured as a developmental league with multiple practices before the season starts along with the practices throughout the season at the coaches discretion.
