Shawnee Juniors Wrestling

Shawnee Jr. Wrestling will being the week of Thanksgiving. 

Practice will be held at the Shawnee High School wrestling room located between the two gyms. 

Practice nights will be based on gym availability. 

Practices are broken up into two groups. Note we use December 31st as cut off for age groups.

Group 1 6pm to 7pm.

Group 2 7pm to 830pm

Group 1 is set up for the younger inexperienced wrestler. If your wrestler is 10 years old or younger and has less than two complete years of experience you will attend group one. 

Group 2 11 years of age or older. 

If your wrestler is 10 yrs of age or less but has two complete years of experience or more please attend the second group. 

For practice wrestlers are to wear shorts, t shirt and wrestling shoes. Wrestlers with braces are required to wear a mouth piece. 

School Usage Rules

The following rules need to be observes in order for us to use Shawnee High School

Parents for years we have had the fortunate opportunity to utilize Shawnee High School's wrestling room and gymnasium for practices and matches.



This season we must ensure that our wrestlers and parents are not roaming the halls and entering the gym during sporting events. There is to be no eating in the wrestling room. If we don't monitor this situation closely we will lose our privilege to use the high school.
