MYAA Field Hockey offers introductory through to advanced instruction tailored to players of all skill levels. Our program teaches the ethics of positive teamwork, instills the dedication and hard work necessary for success, and assures that all participants improve their technical skills while having fun.  REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MAY 1 AND CLOSE JUNE 15th.The season opens the week of August 28th for practices, and games begin in mid-September. Weekly games for 3rd-4th graders are held Saturdays while 5th-8th graders play on Sundays. Practices are held 1 -2 times per week at the coach’s discretion. We are also excited to offer our Little Sticks program for preK-1st graders and 2nd graders, which hosts playdates with other towns along with our  "Friday night lights" and Saturday afternoon "Hockey Happy Hour" offerings.  

 *There will also be a few summer clinics offered. These provide an opportunity for players to meet and be coached by members of the Shawnee high school team, along with MYAA coaches.
